This course will cover: Choreographic structures and devices, elements of dance, safe practices, production experience, analysis of a dance, history of Dance, dance technique in street, cultural and contemporary and performing experience to an audience. Assessments at NCEA Level 1 and 2.
This course will cover the comprehensive use of choreographic structures and devices as well as elements of dance, production experience – students will organise a production, safe practices, analysis of a dance, history of dance and dance techniques including cultural and ‘stomp’ style rhythm work.
This course will cover the comprehensive use of choreographic structures and device elements of dance. Students will direct their own choreography for a group to perform using technologies. Students will also organise all aspects of a production, safe practice and analyse a dance and history of dance in New Zealand.
In this course there are up to 4 Reading and up to 8 Writing UE Literacy credits available.
